India's first 24×7 Science Channel

Department of science and tech and Doordarshan,  Prasar Bharati collaborated to create a channel for completely science dedicated for new India.

Union Minister for Science and Technology India, Dr Harsh Vardhan while addressing on the occasion said that," more important necessity is to create a scientific temperament in the youth of 1.3 billion people.

So we have created a two channels in English and Hindi completely dedicated to science. These two channels will be available on both DTH and OTT. 

Both channels are named DD Science and India Science.

Department of science and technology further explained that DD Science will be on DD National and India Science is a 24×7 channel on OTT
